If you love clothes that are bright, colourful and really fun to wear then look no further! Here at Dillas Baban we believe that all kids clothes should be as unique as your little cherubs are - even if they often act more like little monsters than cherubs half the time!

Our range of baby essentials like short sleeve vests and sleepsuits, & kidswear like long and short sleeve t-shirts are all made from Fairtrade 100% cotton and hand dyed for that unique and original design every time. It is impossible for us to make two items absolutely identical, and let's face it - even twins have their own individual personality, so why shouldn't their clothes reflect that?

New to 2012 we have a range of bamboo velour and corduroy dresses that also double up as tops when they are too short to be worn as a dress - so you get even more wear from them as each dress will last for at least two years and even longer sometimes too! Just add some leggings underneath and a long sleeve top and you can wear it all year round. If you are new to bamboo here are a few reasons why we love it so much and why hopefully you will love it too:

  • It's the most eco-friendly plant on the planet, it gives out more oxygen and absorbs more carbon dioxide than any other plant.

  • It is one of the fastest growing plants too - some species of bamboo can grow up to 1m a day! And don't worry about the pandas not getting their share, because bamboo grows so fast there is plenty for everyone :D (and we all know the young shoots are the tastiest!).

  • Bamboo is organically grown, it needs no pesticides to grow and even uses less water than cotton, making it great for renewal as it doesn't drain the earth's resources. It is OekoTex 100 certified which means that no nasty chemicals are used in the processing of the fabric making it safe for babies and children to wear.

  • Bamboo is also extremely soft to the touch and gets softer with every wash, it is 60% more absorbant than cotton which is why it is often used in cloth nappies, plus it is naturally antibacterial so is perfect for sensitive skin and skin conditions like eczema etc as these properties help to heal the skin too.

  • Bamboo helps to regulate the body temperature, if it is warm it will keep the body cool and if it is cold it will keep the body warm - which is another reason why it is perfect to wear all year round!

  • It holds dye beautifully - making the colours really vibrant due to the natural soft sheen of the fabric, and all our dyes are kind to the skin - no nasties go into our clothes!

    We could go on about this all day as we love bamboo so much - but we don't want you to get bored and we would much rather you check out our clothes instead! :D
